We recommend Splitting Image Taxidermy. Please enquire for more information on SIT.
We advise our clients to do their Taxidermy work in SA if possible. On average, it will still be cheaper if your trophies are mounted this side and shipped over, compared to dip & pack and using a comparable Taxidermist on that side of the pond. Also, African Taxidermists knows African Game.
We do our ABSOLUTE BEST to take the best care possible of your trophies and skins, but sometimes it can just happen that a skin can slip for unknown reasons. If this ever happens, then it is so much easier to replace a damaged cape on this side if needed.
A full first aid kit is available at the camp and qualified doctors are within reach in the unlikely event of any emergency.
In case of an emergency at home your family can contact our office at +27 53 2040042 OR +27 82 412 2106 and we will ensure that we get the message to the camp. Please keep in mind that the South African time zone is about 7 hours ahead of the East coast of the USA!!
