The Northern Cape province of South Africa which is our base, is a captivating destination for hunting, offering a rich variety of landscapes and distinct weather patterns. Here’s what you can anticipate.
During March, April, September, and October, South Africa typically experiences warm to hot temperatures, ranging from 65°F to 85°F. In contrast, the winter months of May through August see nighttime temperatures occasionally dipping below freezing, with midday temperatures rising to a comfortable 60s or 70s.
You will arrive in South Africa at either O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airport. From there, you’ll take a brief flight to Kimberley, which typically lasts between one hour and an hour and a half. Upon reaching Kimberley, we will transfer you by road to your camp, with travel times ranging from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your destination. Additionally, one of our camps features its own airstrip, and you are welcome to charter a private aircraft directly to us.
